If you want to decrypt your DVD manually
If you want to decrypt your DVD manually you can check the corresponding checkbox that you'll find in the general tab of the options.
When you push this button DVX will ask you where to put the backuped files of your DVD and then automatically Decrypt all the files. When this is finished DVX will automatically launch DVD2AVI in order to prepare a d2v project for further processing.

If you want to choose DVD2AVI options
If you want that DVX asks you to choose DVD2AVI options before to create a d2v project you can check the correspondind checkbox that you'll find in the general tab of the options. Please note that DVX can detect that the source is NTSC FILM and automatically select the FILM field operation of DVD2AVI.
